Individual Life Skills Coaching & Counseling
Description: These tailored coaching and counseling sessions aim to build essential daily living and executive functioning skills, such as time management, organization, and budgeting. The sessions also help clients hone decision-making abilities, strengthen communication strategies, and effective stress management. Participants can expect a focus on boosting self confidence and resilience, while career and educational support—like job exploration, interview preparation, and guidance for college—is available as needed.
Key Objectives:
- Encourage greater independence in everyday tasks
- Bolster practical life skills vital for adult life
- Advance decision-making capacity and assist with personal goal setting
- Improve both social communication and workplace preparedness
Format: Each session lasts 45–60 minutes and takes place either weekly or every other week. All young adult participants provide informed consent, with each meeting adhering to strict confidentiality and client autonomy standards.
Young Adult Workshops
Description: Periodic group workshops are available based on participant interest, focusing on key topics relevant to young adults, such as career planning, the transition to college, social networking, independent living skills. These sessions create a structured environment for peer-based learning and targeted skill development within a supportive group context.
Key Objectives:
- Equip young adults for successful educational and career transitions
- Promote peer support and the cultivation of social connections during the shift toward independence
Format: Sessions are 60–90 minutes in duration and are scheduled according to demand, either or via participant sign-up.
