We partner with families to create a consistent support system, recognizing that parent involvement and family dynamics are key to a child’s progress.

Parent Workshops & Engagement Programs

Description: Interactive programs help parents and caregivers connect with schools and build a supportive community include: 

  • Parent–Teacher Conferences: Meetings to align on children’s progress and consistent strategies.
  • Educational Workshops: Seminars on child development, mental health, parenting, digital safety, and home learning support.
  • Family Involvement Days: Parents join classroom activities, events, or trips.
  • Parent–Child Skill-Building: Joint sessions for communication, conflict resolution, study, and organization skills.
  • After-School Programs (with Parent Participation): Enrichment clubs and mentoring with parent involvement.
  • Adolescent Development Sessions: Groups for parents covering teen issues, autonomy, stress, and emotional changes.
  • Parent Volunteering: Opportunities to assist at events, sports, arts, and projects.
  • Digital Literacy Workshops: Guidance on social media, screen time, and digital tools.

Key Objectives:

  • Ensure consistency between home and school/therapy approaches.
  • Provide tools and knowledge for child development.
  • Foster community among families.

Format: Workshops last ~90 minutes, held monthly. Family days and parent child programs run during school terms or breaks. Conferences and volunteering align with the school calendar.

Couple Therapy

Description: Counseling sessions are conducted with parents, the child, and sometimes siblings, focusing on enhancing family communication, resolving conflicts, and aligning strategies used at home. The therapist provides information to family members about the child’s needs and offers guidance on how to respond in effective and supportive ways. 

Key Objectives:

  • Facilitate effective communication and foster mutual understanding between partners
  • Assist in conflict resolution and reinforce the couple’s relationship
  • Promote healthier coping strategies and collaborative problem solving abilities Couples frequently note enhanced trust, deeper emotional intimacy, and greater relationship satisfaction as outcomes of participating in our counseling services. 

Format: Each session lasts 60 minutes and may be scheduled on a weekly or bi weekly basis according to the couple’s preferences. Services are delivered in person within a private and confidential setting.

Description: Therapeutic counseling for couples is characterized by the application of evidence based methodologies and individualized care plans. Our therapists employ established techniques, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, and tailor each session to address the specific needs and interpersonal dynamics of each couple. Drawing on advanced expertise in relationship support, our practitioners provide a secure and confidential environment where partners can discuss challenges and strengthen their connection. 

Family Counseling Sessions

Key Objectives:

  • Improve communication among family members
  • Develop consistent home routines
  • Decrease levels of family conflict and stress

Format: Sessions typically last 60 minutes and are held once a month (with possible adjustments), available either in person or secure video conference.

On-Site Crisis Intervention for Families

Description: On-demand support is available to families experiencing urgent crises, delivering immediate on-site counseling and guidance throughout the event. This intervention involves collaboration with any existing support services and resources to ensure ongoing care for the family. 

Key Objectives:

  • Stabilize the family system during a crisis
  • Clarify immediate next steps and define roles for family members
  • Maintain continuity of care by facilitating connections to follow up supports

Format: Services are provided on an as-needed, emergency basis. Session length is flexible, allowing support to be delivered for the duration required at the time. Follow-up guidance and referrals are provided after the initial crisis has been addressed.
